Oil on panel 40x40cm. - My beautiful Eastern Water Dragon.

In the heart of Australia's untamed wilderness, I stumbled upon a regal presence that could rival any fictional monarch. This was no ordinary encounter; it was with an Eastern Water Dragon, a creature so majestic she seemed to have stepped out of a myth. I christened her the Dragon Queen, for she exuded an aura of undeniable authority.
Unlike the fierce tamers in tales of Westeros, this Dragon Queen required no master. Her sovereignty was inherent, commanding respect as she basked upon her sunlit throne. Inspired by her natural majesty, I crafted a true crown for her—a delicate weave of jeweled flowers and vivid berries, paying homage to her vibrant domain.
Adorning her was not merely an act of decoration, but a celebration of her reign. The crown transformed her, not into something new, but into what she had always been, a true empress of her world. Nestled amidst the jewels, a Golden Orb spider spun its intricate web, bestowing an added touch of nobility upon her already regal facade.
Witnessing this harmony between queen and nature was a profound reminder of the beauty and balance found within the wild. The Dragon Queen reigns supreme, a true testament to the splendor of the untamed.
